Choose your clothing wisely

Bring outfits that fit you well. Too snug or too loose will not hang properly. View your outfits in a full length mirror both standing and sitting.

Wear solid colors. Medium to dark tones or rich vibrant hues. Black is always great for classic and contemporary looks. Avoid white and pastels, loud prints, bold stripes and logos or wording.

Long sleeves are the most flattering. Avoid sleeveless and short sleeve tops as they tend to make your arms appear large

Vary your styles. Bring a variety of clothing changes for a casual, traditional and formal look.

The Finishing Touch

Dress from head to toe. Some poses will be full length showing shoes and manicured nails. Pressed clothing will make a difference.

Don't forget accessories. Jewelry, belts, hats, scarves and jackets provide additional interest.

Wear your hair the way you like it best. Plan your haircut, color, or perm at least one week before your session. Don't try a drastically new hairstyle. Guys, shave just before coming, a five o'clock shadow will show.

Wear your makeup as you normally do. If your eye make-up is applied too heavily it will make your eyes appear small.

Bring out your personality!

Do you play sports? Bring your letter jacket, sporting equipment, medals or trophies etc.

Do you play a musical instrument? Bring your guitar, violin, flute, trumpet, drum sticks or sheet music. Use your imagination.

What is your ride? Bring your car, bike motorcycle, skateboard, etc.

Who's your best friend? Include a couple poses with your best friend, sibling or even mom or dad.

Do you have a special pet? Pets are welcome, whether it be a reptile or furry friend.

Other Important Details:

Be conscious about sunburns and tan lanes. They will be visible in your photos.

Do you wear glasses? Glass glare elimination is possible when you remove your lenses or borrow a pair of empty frames like your own from your optometrist. Retouching glare is an additional charge.

Please leave your cell phone in our dressing room or your car. They are not allowed during your session.
